1. Who we are

My Daily Oracle is a service of Digital Impact, the trade name of João Gonçalo Antunes Lé Pestana Dias, a sole trader registered in Portugal, tax number (NIF) 217486061, with address at Rua João Chagas 139, 3.º Frente, 2795-102 Linda-a-Velha, Portugal. Contact: joao@digitalimpact.pt.

2. What My Daily Oracle is

My Daily Oracle offers tarot readings and horoscopes in English and Portuguese. The readings are written by artificial intelligence: Serena, Miguel and Helena are characters we created, not real people.

Here, tarot is a tool for reflection and self-knowledge: the readings offer prompts to think about yourself and about what you can do. They do not predict the future, and they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, nor do they replace a professional. Do not make important decisions based on a reading alone. If you are going through a difficult time, talk to someone you trust or to a professional; if you are in danger, call your local emergency number.

3. Age

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Your account

You need an account to save your readings, ask the reader follow-up questions and use the dashboard. You are responsible for what is done with your account, so keep your password safe. You can delete your account at any time by writing to joao@digitalimpact.pt.

5. What is free

My Daily Oracle is currently free. Without an account, you can get one free reading. With an account, you get a number of readings per day (the site shows how many you have left), one question to the reader about each reading, your day in the dashboard with the card of the day and your horoscope, the journal and the history of your readings. To keep the service running for everyone, there is also a daily limit of readings across the whole site; if we reach it, further readings will have to wait until the next day.

If a paid plan is ever introduced, these terms will explain the price, renewal, cancellation and your right to withdraw within 14 days, and we will let you know before charging anything.

6. Your data

We keep your readings and the questions you ask the reader so we can show them in your history and so the reader can remember you. What we collect and who we share it with is explained in the Privacy Policy.

7. What you may and may not do

You may not use My Daily Oracle for illegal purposes, try to get around the limits (for example, with multiple accounts) or copy the service by automated means. If that happens, we may suspend the account.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep My Daily Oracle available at all times, but there may be interruptions, for maintenance or because of failures at our providers, and parts of the service may be paused.

9. Liability

We are responsible for the service under Portuguese law. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, which is a tool for reflection (section 2).

10. Complaints and disputes

You can send complaints to joao@digitalimpact.pt or file one in Portugal's Electronic Complaints Book. In the case of a consumer dispute, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, such as CNIACC, the Portuguese National Centre for Consumer Information and Arbitration (cniacc.pt). These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change is significant, we will let you know on the site or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
