What it means
The Devil shows two figures chained to a pedestal, but the chains are loose: they could take them off. It is the card of dependence, temptation and the patterns that hold us, whether in money, desire, work or a relationship. It is not a punishment: it is a mirror. Recognising the chain is the first step to taking it off.
In love
Intense passion, jealousy or dependence. A relationship that binds more than it frees, or a desire that is hard to control.
At work and with money
Excessive ambition, a job that holds you through money or an unclear deal. Watch what you are agreeing to.
Do you have a question for the cards?
Choose a reader and a spread: one card, three, or the full Celtic Cross.
